Jill Worley

Jill Worley is the membership chair of Montgomery County Women's Chorus. Her first singing engagement was performing "Jesus Loves Me" to appreciative Octogenarians for five cents a song. She has continued to perform in the Maryland/ DC area, but to never such great success. She is honored to be a part of a quality organization that will focus solely on women's music. Music about women, by women and performed by women. A long-time resident of Montgomery County, MD, she is excited to be a part of this worthwhile project. Jill, along with her husband, owns and operates The Goddard School in Gaithersburg, MD. Prior to this, she worked at Continental Insurance in customer relations, and then as a computer programmer and trainer. She holds a bachelors degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in music education with an emphasis on vocal performance.

Hien Nguyen

As a retired librarian with a wealth of experience from the federal government and Montgomery County Public Library system, I bring valuable insights and a cultivated understanding of community connections to my role as a board member. My passion for cultural and social diversity fuels my support for local artists, musicians, and organizations, contributing to the cultivation of a vibrant artistic environment in Montgomery County. The mission of the Montgomery County Women's Chorus deeply resonates with me. I am committed to assisting the organization in building a dynamic artistic space that warmly welcomes and celebrates all chorus members who self-identify as women. This commitment reflects my genuine dedication to recognizing and honoring the spectrum of identities and backgrounds, fostering an environment that embraces vocal excellence across a diverse range of pitches and styles, all for a completely inclusive women's chorus. I am particularly excited about the organization's initiative to engage women composers in creating a new repertoire, enriching our tapestry of sound. In brief, I aspire to bring my authentic background, coupled with my genuine commitment to inclusivity and fostering connections, to my role as a board member. This aligns seamlessly with the Montgomery County Women's Chorus's pursuit of artistic excellence and inclusivity.

Deviba Jadeja

Deviba currently works as Grants Manager and fundraiser for a national non-profit. She also worked for several years within the movement against family violence, where she collaborated with a policy team on legislative and advocacy efforts, including work on several diversity, equity and inclusion centered events. Deviba holds a master's degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action and a bachelor’s degree both in History and International Relations and Global Studies. Deviba played the clarinet for seven years and was a proud member of her high school marching band, wind ensemble, and winter drumline. The mission and vision of the Montgomery County Women’s Chorus align with Deviba’s love of music and commitment to raising the voices of women in all areas.

Becky Snyder

Becky Snyder has spent 30 years bringing leadership visions to life—first in the arts as a production stage manager, then in the international corporate world as a project manager. Now, as the founder of Agile Therapy, she coaches individuals and teams, helping them build clarity, confidence, and alignment in their personal and professional growth. A lifelong singer, Becky has been involved with choruses since childhood and values music’s ability to create connection. Passionate about philanthropy, she actively supports organizations that uplift women in the community. She is excited to contribute her leadership expertise and strategic insight to help the chorus expand its reach and impact.

Janet Lewandowski

Janet Lewandowski is an alumni of the Robert H Smith School of Business at University of Maryland. She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting, and went on to earn her CPA license in 2023. Janet has 4 years of professional accounting experience. She started her career as a bookkeeper with Clyde’s Restaurant Group. While obtaining her CPA, she worked at William’s Associates, LLC in Rockville Maryland, preparing financial statements for business clients as well as individual and business tax returns. She then transitioned to corporate accounting in August 2023, and now works as an Accounting Manager at Public Partnerships, LLC. In her free time, Janet enjoys working on art projects and cooking.
